It’s Spring: the water is smooth and the temp is increasing - Rowing Season and time for a Club get-together! 

Do you ever feel like you’d like to get to know more than the back of your fellow rowers?

This is your chance: Bring what you’d like to BBQ and drink, we’ll provide the rest. 
Yes, it’s also an Annual General Meeting but we figure we can polish that off before you finish your burger and head for dessert!

Bob and Maggie have kindly agreed to host at their lovely home.

Notice of Annual General Meeting - May 18

This is to formally notify all members of the Rowing Club that the Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on May 18. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm. Your active participation is vital to the success and proper governance of our club.

Agenda

  1. Call to Order
  2. Approval of Agenda
  3. Declaration of Quorum
  4. Adoption of Minutes from last year’s AGM
  5. Reports
    1. Board Report
    2. Financial Report
  6. Presentation of Proposed Budget for this year
  7. Election of Board Members

    Note: We are actively seeking nominees for the Treasurer position. We encourage you to consider nominating yourself or another member who you believe could contribute positively in this role.
  8. Adjournment

Please be assured that attendance at this meeting does not obligate you to volunteer; however, it is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the decision-making process, helping to shape the future of our club.

Following the AGM, we invite you to stay and enjoy a BBQ as we mingle and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. This will also be a perfect time to meet new members and discuss our shared passion for rowing.
